Omakase Experience
I'll Leave it Up To You
Derived from the Japanese term for "I'll leave it to you."
It is a culinary tradition that places complete trust in the chef — at our counter in Santa Teresa, accepting all dishes created especially for you.
This unique dining experience is not simply about the food, but also the relationship built on trust between the chef and the diner.
The Journey
Yasumi's Omakase takes place twice a month — on the second and fourth Sunday.
Each night features a 10-course tasting menu created exclusively for that evening, with no dish ever repeated.
Guided by Japanese technique and local Costa Rican ingredients, at the counter in Santa Teresa, the experience is a chance to pause, taste, and enjoy something new every time.

The Yasumi Touch
Each dish is served directly by the chef — across the counter, by hand, one piece at a time. In that gesture lies the essence of Yasumi: the pause between moments.
